Andy Lee reveals why Hamish Blake's wife Zoe should be worried about him filming new travel show

Andy Lee reveals why Hamish Blake’s wife Zoë should be VERY worried about him filming their new travel show Perfect Holiday

Comedians Andy Lee and Hamish Blake will return to Channel Nine with their new travel series Perfect Holiday next year.

And while the duo are no stranger to filming TV shows abroad, Andy was surprised that Hamish’s wife Zoë Foster Blake allowed him to sign up this time.

‘We’re going on another travel show, which I just can’t believe Hamish got clearance for from his partner [to do]!’ Andy told KIIS FM’s Jase & PJ on Wednesday.

The premise of Perfect Holiday is that Hamish and Andy will surprise each other with wacky pre-planned activities for each other to do as they travel across the globe.

‘The great thing about that for Hamish in his situation with his wife is he can come home and go, ‘I didn’t know I was going to do that. It was Andy’s fault!’ Andy mused.

‘So yeah, I probably won’t be allowed back in the house or in any conversations with Zoe,’ he joked.

Andy was then quizzed on the kinds of activities he’s planned for Hamish to endure on the show.

‘I don’t want to kill him, but it depends what happens to me,’ Andy laughed.

Perfect Holiday, which will air on Channel Nine later this year and will be similar to the Logie Award-winning comedy series Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year.

‘We’re starting to film next month and, you know, we’re not reinventing the wheel, it’s still going to be us eating weird things and pushing each other into swamps,’ Hamish said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this Monday.

‘The difference this time around [is that] every alternating day I’ll plan a day for Andy and then the next day he plans the day [for me].

‘We plan the itinerary for the team. So I know what half the trip is… and then he knows the other half of the trip. So every alternating day it’s someone’s turn to figure out the schedule.’

Hamish concluded that, rules of the game aside, Perfect Holiday will essentially be him and Andy ‘stitching each other up’.

Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year was a huge success for the duo, running for four seasons from 2011 and earning several Logie wins and nominations.
