Andy Cohen says he thinks Teresa Giudice is ‘over’ her marriage to Joe as he waits in Italy for deportation appeal

ANDY Cohen has challenged the old adage that absence makes the heart grow fonder.

The Watch What Happens Live host revealed that he has been shocked by the “deadness” of the relationship of Real Housewives’ stars Teresa and Joe Giudice.

“What shocked me the most was their honesty about their lack of attraction for each other and the seeming deadness of their relationship,” he said of the troubled couple on his show on Wednesday.

Cohen had been asked by guest Michael Rapaport to spill the beans on his recent exclusive interview with the couple for a special called Joe and Teresa Unlocked.

Rapaport then pressed Cohen about what he thought was going to happen to their relationship.

“I never count their love out. They were so into each other for so long. She was standing by him with every rumor she heard,” Andy said.

However, he seemed to conclude that a split might be on the horizon, adding, “But I do have to say, she just seemed over it. She was talking about it in the past tense. She seems to have a very realistic attitude about how this isn’t gonna work.”

He continued: “I still can’t get over [that] I have done two post-prison interviews with these two, and they wore orange to each interview! I will never get over it for as long as I live. You cannot write this.”

Joe Giudice is in Italy after being held in custody awaiting the result of his appeal against deportation, following his release from prison after serving 41 months for fraud.

Teresa, 47, has said she doesn’t know whether their marriage will survive him living in another country and she’s due to see him this week.

Their legal troubles came to a head when they were charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud, in July 2013.

The Bravo stars submitted fraudulent mortgage and other loan applications from 2001 through 2008, and made false claims about their employment status and salaries, according to the indictment.

The couple lied and concealed information in their petition for bankruptcy protection initiated in October 2009, the indictment said.

Joe, 49, also failed to file tax returns for the years 2004 through 2008, when he was alleged to have earned nearly $1 million, the government said.

When Teresa filed for a mortgage loan of $121,000 in 2001, she falsely claimed she worked as an executive assistant, submitting fake W-2 forms and fake paystubs, claims People.

After originally pleading guilty, the pair changed their plea to guilty and Teresa served 11 months in prison.

She was released on December 23, 2015 and Joe started his sentence for the same crimes in March 2016 and was released in March this year.

Real Housewives of New Jersey is on Bravo on Wednesdays.
