Andrew Scott amazed fans when he was Sherlock Holmes’ nemesis, Moriarty. However, his stock in the acting world truly went up when he became the iconic Hot Priest in Fleabag. Now, he is returning to his roots in the theatre for a very different kind of show.
How to watch Three Kings
Andrew Scott is to star in new Old Vic theatre production Three Kings, which will be live-streamed from an empty theatre.
The live-stream is unlike many other shows we have seen recently, however, and is only available for five performances between July 29 and August 1 for ticket-holders.
To purchase tickets, which are between £10 and £40 each, fans must go to the Old Vic theatre’s website when booking opened today.
At the moment, only friends of the theatre and members are able to purchase then, so other fans must get ready to purchase their tickets today.

What is Three Kings?
Three Kings is a new play written for Andrew Scott, by writer Stephen Beresford.
The play has then been directed by the Old Vic’s artistic director Matthew Warchus.
The story follows Patrick, who recalls the return of his absent father and the subsequent revelations in a one-man show.
The production will see these three artists reunite, after Beresford wrote and Warchus directed the 2014 movie Pride, in which Scott played a gay activist fighting for the rights of miners in a small Welsh village.
Speaking of the new production, Warchus said: “I am hugely grateful to Stephen for writing this play specially for the Old Vic: In Camera series and to Andrew for agreeing to perform it.
“Their generous support of The Old Vic at this critical time and their spirit of adventure in joining us in this crucial fundraising experiment is enormously appreciated.”
The production follows a successful run of the play Lungs, which reunited The Crown stars Claire Foy and Matt Smith.

They too performed in a socially-distanced manner, and few tickets were sold to their performances, making it a must-see show.
Their show had previously run at the Old Vic theatre before COVID-19, meaning they were the guinea-pigs of the new Old Vic series which is being run as a fundraiser while the theatre remains closed to audiences.
This is also not Scott’s first time treading the boards at the Old Vic.
Before the lockdown, he performed in Noel Coward’s Present Laughter at the theatre, while Scott also performed in a one-man show Sea Wall to celebrate the Old Vic’s 200th anniversary in 2018.
