While Blossoms were dressed as The Spice Girls
Anaïs Gallagher, daughter of Oasis guitarist Noel, has posted a picture of herself dressed up as her dad alongside Blossoms‘ Josh Drewhurst – who was dressed as Spice Girls-era Geri Halliwell.
“Did someone say Brit pop???” Anaïs posted on Instagram, along with the image of herself recreating Noel’s 90s get up, seemingly modelled after his now-iconic look from the band’s Maine Road gigs in 1996.
“P.S. I know my dad wore black trainers,” she continued, with the look completed by a ukelele painted to resemble Noel’s famous Union Jack guitar.
The rest of Blossoms were in attendance too, making up the full Spice Girls line-up with their own 90s music fancy dress.
The band posted an image of the bold fancy dress choice, with an apology to the recently-reformed girl group.
Anaïs is Noel’s eldest daughter, from his relationship with Meg Matthews. She is a model, and in 2018 was named as a contributing fashion editor for Tatler magazine.
Blossoms, meanwhile, say they have “two-album’s worth of songs” for a record they want to release this year.
When asked when their follow up to 2018’s ‘Cool Like You’ would appear, Ogden said: “Hopefully this year. We’ve written and demoed two album’s-worth of songs, so if we don’t get anything out, we’re lazy.
“It’s getting to Mark Ronson’s ear tonight. Why not? We need a producer!”
