Amy WInehouse’s family have spoken out to blast Fielder-Civil – eight years after the singer’s death.
They said: “He deserves nothing.”
Fielder-Civil, 37, who has previously admitted introducing Amy to heroin, is demanding a huge singular payout and a monthly allowance, according to The Sun.
A source close to the family, who are now facing a court battle with Fielder-Civil, said: “This is someone who spent a lot of Amy’s money during their time together.
“He also and spent a lot of their marriage in prison, bringing nothing but pain to everyone.
“To give him another penny would be too much.”
They added: “To say that it would be inappropriate for him to benefit from her estate would be an understatement.”
Amy died of alcohol poisoning on 23 July 2011 – she was just 27-years-old at the time
Winehouse did not leave a will – instead her after-tax assets, which amounted to her £2.94million went to her mum Janis, 63, and dad Mitch, 68.
The value of her estate is reported to have grown substantially since her death thanks to song royalties.
Fielder-Civil has reportedly told Amy’s family his lawyers said his legal claim is a valid one as pair were together for six years, which is when she released some of her best-selling material.
The news of Fielder-Civil’s alleged legal claim comes just days after the eighth anniversary of Amy’s death.
