The I’m a Celebrity star opened up to Hello! Magazine about the proposal, and why she made Daniel ask her more than once.

She said: “The second time around I made him do it on one knee because I didn’t know if proposing on both knees counted.”

“I spied a breakfast picnic set up with candles, a firepit, a bottle of our favourite champagne and red roses everywhere.

“Then he dropped to both knees and pulled out a box from his pocket containing the most beautiful ring. It felt like a dream.”

Daniel said: “I couldn’t have asked for it to go better.”

However she later parted ways with the glamour model’s management company, telling The Mirror in 2012: “I broke off all contact when I decided to leave.

“A lot of very upsetting things happened – some of which Kate doesn’t even know about – but I think we are both best moving on and going our separate ways.

“Most people will know that I wouldn’t have left unless there was a very, very good reason for it.”
