AMY Schumer has given birth to her first child with husband Chris Fischer – a baby boy.
The actress, 37, announced the baby – who she described as their ‘royal baby’ – arrived last night as she posted a picture of herself in hospital.
Alongside the snap, which sees her cradling the little one as her husband kisses her, she wrote: “10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born.”
Last night Amy revealed she was heading into hospital as she shared a picture of herself posing on the steps, joking that it was her Met Gala look for this year.
She revealed she was expecting a baby boy just two days ago as she posted a long post about fast food, before adding at the end: “Also we are having a boy”.
The star married chef Chris at a secret ceremony in Malibu in February 2018 after just four months of dating.
Amy revealed she was pregnant with the couple’s first child in October of that year.
On Friday Amy shared a picture of her large baby bump as she sat in a doctor’s waiting room.
She told her fans: “Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant Well imagine how I feel mother f***ers!!!!!!’ “
Throughout her pregnancy she suffered from “complications from hyperemesis” during the third trimester.
She was unable to fly and was forced to cancel the remainder of her tour, much to her dismay.
The comedian shared at the tme: “Due to complications from hyperemesis I am not cleared to fly for the next couple weeks. I am going to cancel the remainder of my tour. Refunds are available at point of purchase … The baby and I are healthy and everything looks good.
“But I am in my third trimester and I am still nauseous all the time and vomiting. I vomit mostly every time i ride in a car even for 5 minutes. I have a pretty good attitude about it and some days I feel good for a couple hours. But mostly it’s sucks. I wanted to push through and do my shows.
“Because I hate letting people down and I love stand up and money! But more than that I have to think about my health and the baby. I know you guys get it and people are like. B***ch are you ok? Take it easy but it’s still embarrassing to have to cancel. (sic)”
