Amy Schumer brought her baby boy with her to visit her father outside his nursing home amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The comedian took along a sweet sign to stand outside the home as social distancing rules mean the elderly are urged to stay away from others to prevent them from catching the virus.

Her sign read: ‘Hi Grandpa! We love you!’ as she held it up for her dad, Gordon, who has MS, to see.

Coronavirus restrictions won’t stop Grandpa Schumer from seeing his grandson.

The 38-year-old posted the video to her Instagram waving the sign before the camera panned around to show Gordon watching them from the window.

Fans and friends appreciated the sweet gesture and commented their love for the social distancing meet up.

90 Day Fiance star Loren Brovarnik wrote: ‘I’m not crying, you’re crying!’

Lily Aldridge left a couple of love heart emojis on the post.

A fan commented: ‘I must be hormonal I just burst into tears watching this.’

‘Omg this made me cry. I love it,’ another said.

The Trainwreck star recently opened up about her IVF journey, as she revealed that out of 35 eggs, she had one ‘normal embryo.’

Amy revealed that fans sharing their struggles with her has helped her through the journey towards having a second child.

Sharing a selfie, she wrote: ‘Hey! So ivf went like this for us. They retrieved 35 eggs from me. Not bad for the old gal right? Then 26 fertilized! Whoah right?

‘For all of those we got 1 normal embryo from that and 2 low level mosaic (mosaic means there are some abnormal cells but can still lead to a healthy baby) So we feel lucky we got 1!’

She went on to thank fans for their encouraging support, admitting it’s made her feel better.
