Amber Rose has claimed that her pregnancy has made her realise who her real friends are.
The 35-year-old went on a social media rant over the weekend, suggesting that ‘toxic ass fake friends’ have not been around for her over the last few months.
The star took to her Instagram story and wrote: ‘Funny how my phone blows up when I’m having pool parties and s**t is lit. But as soon as b***h is sick and pregnant it’s crickets.’
According to The Shaderoom, the post continued: ‘No “just checking on you” text or nothing, s**’s wild. But when I pop out this beautiful strong baby boy don’t try to be my friend again. Dead*ss.’
And the model was not done as she closed off her rant, writing: ‘Toxic ass fake friends byeeeeeeeee.’
Rose’s second pregnancy hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing so far, with reports revealing she is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum.
She has been experiencing the same severe morning sickness Kate Middleton suffered with for all three of her pregnancies while expecting little Royals, Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, who turned one on 23 April.
According to TMZ, Amber is around 13-weeks pregnant and has had a ‘rough’ first trimester thanks to the extreme sickness, that saw her hospitalised and given IV treatments for a few days.
The model announced she is pregnant again earlier this month on social media – choosing to share a picture of herself in the middle of a pregnancy scan to her Instagram page.
Her unborn baby will be Amber’s second child, but her first with boyfriend AE, real name Alexander Edwards.
Amber is already mum to son Sebastian, six, who she shares with her ex Wiz Khalifa.
Confirming her pregnancy, Amber told her 18.7million followers: ‘@ae4president and I are SUPER excited to announce that we have a Sweet little Baby Boy on the way!
‘P.S Sebastian is soooooo Happy to be a big brother!’
AE was just as thrilled as Amber and thanked his baby mama for giving him the ‘greatest gift’ as he too confirmed their exciting news on Instagram.
Sharing the same photo, the Def Jam Records executive wrote: ‘Thank u baby 4 my greatest gift. shit wild! I love you I can’t wait to thug it out w my baby boy. & baby boy, I promise I won’t get mad if ur first words r “where the b*****s @?” (no hyper-masculinity).’
Speaking about motherhood, Amber recently told Entertainment Tonight that she thinks women can still be ‘sexy’ and mums at the same time.
She said: ‘Being a mother is the greatest gift, but I think it’s a huge double-standard that you can’t be a mother and be sexy – of course you can.
‘The idea that you can be one but not the other is very small-minded,’ she said.
It’s sad that people feel like they cannot shine in their authentic light because society has boxed you into only one category.’
Amber continued: ‘Mums are allowed to be sexy.
‘We are allowed to still have fun. We are allowed to go out at night when our kids are asleep and still have a good time. Our lives are not over because we have children.
‘Society teaches you, you have to be a certain way, “You’re a mother, you can’t do this. You’re a mother, you can’t be sexy anymore. You’re a mother, you’re not allowed to go and have fun anymore,” and I truly don’t believe that.
‘I believe that you’re still yourself, you’re just a mum [too].’
