A new study has revealed that Amazon’s Prime TV streaming service is the most affordable in the UK.
Researchers investigated how much customers could watch for each £1 spent of their subscription fee.
Ocean Finance found that Amazon Prime TV is better for binge-watching due to the colossal amount of content available.
Amazon Prime TV offers a potential 1,446 hours of TV or movies per £1, which doubles Netflix’s offering of 702 hours with NOW TV only slightly behind, delivering 608 hours.

Ocean Finance also researched how many shows viewers could watch for £1
Anastasia Letsos from Ocean Finance told Hull Live: “Our findings show that the most cost-effective service is Amazon Prime which offers 211 shows, or 1,446 hours of content per £1 spent.
“However, Netflix has the most-anticipated shows of 2020 (29%) vs Amazon who boast 21% of the must-see shows of 2020. If it’s original content you’re looking for then head to Disney who spend £18.6 billion on their new releases.”
