Amazon Prime will drop a new original film this month, with Michael B Jordan starring as a Navy SEAL seeking to avenge the murder of his wife in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. A number of classic comedies will also be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video this month. Express.co.uk has rounded up all the films you can watch on the service this April.
What new movies are on Amazon Prime in April 2021?
The Mauritanian – available to stream now
The Mauritanian follows the true story of Mohamedou Ould Slahi, a 50-year-old man who was detained at Guantanamo Bay without charge in the hysteria around 9/11.
He wrote a memoir while in prison, and fought alongside his lawyers to be freed.
The film stars Tahar Rahim in the main role, as well as Jodie Foster, Shailene Woodley and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Chick Fight – available from April 23
This movie sees Fight Club meet Bridesmaids, and is a comedy action film starring Malin Akerman, Bella Thorne and Alec Baldwin.
In Chick Fight Anna (played by Malin Akerman) joins an all-female, underground fight club to turn her mess of a life around.
But she soon discovers she’s much more personally connected to the history of the club than she ever could have imagined.
