Keep tabs on your pooch with Furbo dog camera deal

Ahead of Amazon Prime Day, our writer Alex Lee veered from his usual role of sharing his top tips when it comes to everything tech-related, and instead gave us some insight into how he’s pampering his pooch during the shopping bonanza. And on his shopping list was this pet camera.

Furbo dog camera: Was £178.85, now £129, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Taking the top spot in our guide to the best pet cameras, our writer praised it for being a “neatly built machine with good design”. The lid releases dog treats, but it’s “secure enough to prevent canine interference but easy enough to be removed by humans”. It features an “effective 1080p HD camera and good two-way audio”, which “means you can see and hear clearly, even in darkened rooms, though night vision is monochrome only”. Now with a whopping £115 off, now’s the time to snap this up before it’s too late.

There’s nearly £100 off Nintendo Switch OLED

Nintendo Switch OLED and ‘Just Dance 2022’: Was £359.98, now £294.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

The Nintendo Switch OLED model is the best version of the console that you can buy right now, and today you can save 18 per cent on this bundle with the latest version of Just Dance for Prime Day. With a 7in OLED display and a sturdier kickstand, it’s a perfect companion for gaming on the go.

In our review of the Nintendo Switch OLED model, our tester said: “The larger display is fantastic and playing games in handheld mode is an absolute joy. The kickstand feels so solid and makes us never want to look at that little toggle on the back of the original Switch ever again.” You’ll also get Ubisoft’s bestselling dancing game that has been going strong since 2010. The 2022 version boasts an array of new features, with some classic tracks making a return as well as over 40 new songs from featured artists such as Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. A family-friendly title that all ages can enjoy, there’s even a kids mode featuring eight child-friendly tunes to bop away to.

Hoover up this Shark vacuum cleaner deal

Shark cordless stick vacuum cleaner IZ201UKT: Was £349.99, now £229, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

If you’re looking to cut ties with cumbersome wires, you’ve got to try cordless. Having tested a very similar version in our best cordless vacuum cleaners – the only difference being the model we tested has a pet tool included – we were a sucker for the brand’s anti hair wrap technology which helps with tangle-free hoovering, while our tester was seriously impressed at the cleaner’s flexibility, making it ideal for tackling hard to reach spots.

Treat lacklustre locks to Olaplex this Prime Day

Olaplex’s haircare products stand out from the rest. But naturally, they don’t come cheap, so we’d recommend stocking up on Prime Day.

Olaplex No.3 hair perfector: Was £26, now £14.96, Amazon.co.uk

(Olaplex)

As the OG home hair treatment from Olaplex, this formula is a best seller and we can see why. In our review our tester found that after using the formula alongside the no.0 intensive bond building hair treatment (was £28, now £25.11, Amazon.co.uk), the formula “worked wonders” on their split ends and created noticeably shinier locks – the best results they’d seen from at-home hair treatment, so it’s safe to say we’re fans. And with 50 per cent off thanks to Amazon’s Prime Day, this is not a deal to be missed.

Olaplex No.7 bonding oil: Was £36, now £17.46, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

When we reviewed the brand’s entire range, we noticed serious improvements in our lack-lustre locks. And its bonding oil was a firm favourite. Our writer noted that despite its “lightweight formula, it is very nourishing and didn’t leave our hair feeling heavy or greasy”. The “other great thing about the bonding oil is that it provides up to 230C heat protection, as such, it’s great to use before using heat on your hair”, they added. A little goes a long way, so you’ll unlikely make a dent in the bottle until you’re many months down the line.

Give your skincare routine an overhaul with these impressive Cerave discounts.

CeraVe hydrating cleanser: Was £10, now £7.75, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Taking the top spot in our review of the best Cerave products, our tester noted that it’s “perfect for using first thing in the morning as it instantly softens skin and leaves you feeling refreshed”. It also “feels soothing on the skin and won’t exacerbate any irritation”, making it an ideal go-to during breakouts, as well as a “great first step in your skincare routine”.

CeraVe hydrating micellar water: Was £10, now £8, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Need a micellar water? This one is currently 20 per cent off, and received high praise in our review. It has a “gentle formula rich in ceramides that don’t irritate, leave skin red or feeling sensitive, nor does it strip the skin”. But it breaks down the “most stubborn matte red lipstick and multiple coatings of waterproof mascara with ease”. Our tester noted that they “couldn’t recommend this more”.

What time is it? It’s time you got this Apple Watch Prime Day deal

Apple Watch series 7: Was  £369, now £329, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

If you’re looking for a new smartwatch, then Apple’s latest and greatest Apple Watch series 7 has a cool 11 per cent discount this Prime Day. In our review, our tester was smitten by the improvements over the previous model, describing the Apple Watch series 7 as a subtle but powerful step up from last year’s already-excellent series 6. “The design changes are understated but a definite improvement and the user interface has been tweaked to make the most of them,” they explained. “The display really gleams when you choose a favourite photo as the Watch face, for instance.”

(Amazon)

A superb pair of headphones, the Bose NC 700s come highly recommended by our expert shoppers and topped our list of the best noise-cancelling headphones in 2022. They sound sublime across all genres, they’re comfortable to wear for hours on end, and they block out external noise better than any other over-ear headphones we’ve tested.
