While the clear night sky is certainly one of the perks, other hotels are making the most of the landscape by opening the clear rooms in dense jungles, rich vineyards and even on animal conservation sites.

1. Finn Lough Resort, Ireland

Located in Northern Ireland are is the Finn Lough Resort, complete with bubble domes surrounded by forest.
The rooms have 180-degree transparent walls to allow a view of the night sky while also being private.
Inside is a four poster bed as well as en-suite bathroom, daily breakfast and seating area.

2. The 5 Million Star Hotel, Iceland

One of the best places to see the Northern Lights, the 5 Million Star Hotel in Iceland has 360 degrees of unobstructed view of the night sky.
You can stay in both the summer or the winter, with tours of the the area including Reykjavik, Thingvelllir National Park.
Starting from 8:30am, the overnight tour includes a stay at the bubble hotel.

With view of the Capertee Valley, north-west of Sydney, Bubbletent Australia offers three different bubble rooms – Leo, Virgo and Cancer.
Leo is the highest in the valley for unobstructed views, while Virgo has a wood-fired hot tub.
Kids aren’t allowed with over 18-year-olds only, and you’re given the address two weeks before to keep the area private.

What makes it unique is its proximity to the elephants, as you can watch the animals from dusk until dawn.
