Bubble hotels became popular in 2018, offering a glamping experience with the luxury of nature and stargazing.

While the clear night sky is certainly one of the perks, other hotels are making the most of the landscape by opening the clear rooms in dense jungles, rich vineyards and even on animal conservation sites.

From the UK to Mexico, we’ve rounded up the best bubble hotels you can stay next year.

With prices starting from £158 per night, they also won’t break the bank.

The rooms have 180-degree transparent walls to allow a view of the night sky while also being private.

Inside is a four poster bed as well as en-suite bathroom, daily breakfast and seating area.

You can stay in both the summer or the winter, with tours of the the area including Reykjavik, Thingvelllir National Park.

What makes it unique is its proximity to the elephants, as you can watch the animals from dusk until dawn.

The rooms are also dense jungle, and is part of the on-site elephant camp which works on conservation and research.

Katur stands for “happy” in Icelandic, which bodes well for a cosy overnight stay.

Guests can take advantage of free breakfast and dinner, as well as tea tasting, due to its location on a tea plantation.

You can also access the private beach – as well as have a romantic dinner for two package.
