Tom appeared on The Project on Monday when he insisted there was no feud between himself and radio star Amanda.

Despite her giving him a death stare at the Logies on Sunday, Tom said on The Project that Amanda wouldn’t be offended by him making light of his Logie win and even spoke about their Airport encounter.

‘I was talking to Amanda just before, a couple of hours ago at the airport and she has a sense of humour,’ Tom said.

The Hart Quiz host continued: ‘She would actually be offended by the idea that I felt sorry for her.’

‘So I find it really hard to do that, because if I do that, I’m denying her a sense of humour and she was finding it funny’.

Tom raised eyebrows when he took home the top honour, having been awarded the Gold Logie at The Star on the Gold Coast on Sunday night.

The comedian admitted he’d been ‘drinking heavily’ as he launched into a rambling and awkward acceptance speech.

He then raved that he did deserve the win after all, ‘Just because all of you want it and I have got it. Don’t get angry with me. It is all right. You will all survive.’

His rival Amanda, who was also nominated, then shot the comedian some serious side-eye, looking very far from impressed.

However, the pair joked around for cameras during the event, making light of their long-standing alleged feud and even embracing.
