Amanda Holden’s daughter has banned her from sports day at school – and we can kind of see why.
During the latest instalment of Heart Breakfast Show, the 48-year-old lifted the lid on being a mum to daughters Alexa and Hollie – whom she shares with husband Chris Hughes.
Speaking to co-host Jamie Theakston, she explained it’s because she gets a little ‘too involved’ and her competitive side comes straight out.
Which is only natural…
‘With Lexi, as she’s a bit older, she’s banned me from going to hers,’ the Britain’s Got Talent star said. ‘It’s on Friday, and she’s not interested in any parental [advice].
‘I’m massively competitive!’
But it’s not all bad for the mum-of-two, as she revealed youngest daughter Hollie is still happy to have her mum watching on from the sidelines.
‘It’s forecast to rain, that’s my biggest worry,’ she continued. ‘I’ve had all the mums on the WhatsApp group saying, “Who’s packed the wine”?
‘You know those flasks that keep things hot and cold? Well I’ve filled a coffee dispenser with wine and ice. Before I left [for work], I was popping wine bottles! Isn’t that terrible, at 5am?’

Amanda has made a string of headlines over the last few weeks, over her show-stealing outfits on Britain’s Got Talent.
However, while some of them caused viewers to complain, she is adamant she won’t be toning herself down in the future.
‘There’s no way I’d step out in my pyjamas or rock up without a lash. To preserve my own sense of dignity, I always try to look good,’ she told Hello Magazine.
‘My nan Ethel used to tell me, “Never let your husband see you without lipstick.”
‘I’m very mindful of how I look when I go out – which is just as well as I get photographed every day.’
We are not worthy of Amanda Holden.
