Amanda Holden revealed her stunning Christmas decorations to her followers this week, as she got in the spirit of her favourite holiday.

The Britain’s Got Talent host, 48, showed the festive garland on her staircase and her beautifully decorated Christmas tree on her Instagram story while she played festive songs in the background.

Amanda had gone for a red and gold theme on her tree this year, with gold baubles on the garland in her hallway.

She told Metro.co.uk at the Regent Street Christmas lights switch-on that she’s obsessed with this time of the year – and gutted once it’s over.

Amanda revealed she isn’t having a big family Christmas this year, explaining: ‘We are doing a friends Christmas and we’ve not done that in ages.

‘So we’ve got no family and all our friends and we’re going out for dinner so I can’t wait. I absolutely live for Christmas.

‘My tree is going up, I have advent calendars ready, I’ve sent everyone an advent calendar. I mean I love Christmas so much and I get hugely depressed on Boxing Day.

‘I start the countdown for the next Christmas in about March!’

Amanda and her Heart Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakston pushed the button to turn on the Regent Street lights this year, and he also admitted he was having a less conventional Xmas this time around.

Jamie told us: ‘I’m going away this Christmas. Normally we do a big family Christmas, but this year, we’ve decided that my immediate family are going to go away somewhere.

‘So we’re headed off for a week. So we’re going to pack our presents, so we’re not going to be here. But Santa knows exactly where we are – he’ll find us!’

Well, there’s still a couple of weeks left to make sure he has your forwarding address, after all.
