Amanda Holden reignites feud with Phillip Schofield as she says she ‘doesn’t want him in her house’

Amanda Holden has reignited her feud with Phillip Schofield during a game on Heart Breakfast., comparing him to a household pest.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, who recently joined the radio station’s morning show, made a dig at Schofield as she named him as “one of the three things she wouldn’t like to find in her home”.

“Amanda, three things you would not want to find in your house,” her co-host asked.

Holden quickly responded: “Spiders, flies and Phillip Schofield,” laughing as she delivered the last answer.

Holden and Schofield are thought to have fallen out last year after the This Morning host allegedly intervened to stop Holden filling in for Holly Willoughby when she hosted I’m A Celebrity.

“Amanda was so excited when she learnt she had secured the role. She is ITV’s golden girl and has always been a firm favourite with This Morning,” a source told The Sun.

“So she was shocked when she was taken out to lunch by ITV executives who told her that unfortunately they couldn’t follow through with the offer.”

The insider added that the producers “let slip that the decision had been influenced by Schofield” and that Holden “couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t want to co-host as she thought they had a great relationship”

Willoughby’s three-week stand-in was later revealed to be Rochelle Humes, who co-anchored the Monday-Thursday shows.

Reports claimed that Holden confronted Schofield weeks later as she appeared on the show to talk about her work with Tommys charity.

An insider told The Sun: “She made it clear that she felt very let down. He was lost for words but didn’t have much time to respond to Amanda’s claims because the show was going back on air.”

Tune in to the all new Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, weekdays from 06:30 – 10:00 across the UK.
