A little broken leg isn’t going to stop Amanda Holden slaying Monday morning at work.

The 48-year-old arrived at Heart studios in London’s Leicester Square dolled up in an all-red outfit, accessorised with leg bandages and a four-wheeled scooter.

Watch out for them on the catwalks of SS20.

Amanda returned to work at the radio station despite breaking her fibula in two places while holidaying with her family, but aside from what was happening below the knee, you wouldn’t even know.

The Britain’s Got Talent star wore a red leather knee-length skirt with a red top, while she wore just the one crimson velvet shoe and a matching manicure.

Amanda wore her hair in loose curls and was all smiles as she posed with her bandaged up right leg resting on her scooter on Instagram.

She wrote: ‘morning @thisisheart #breakfast great to be back ?.’

And on her Instagram story, Amanda proved she has a sense of humour about her injury, as she scooted through the studio, tossing her hair, to Chamillionaire’s Ridin’.

The former Cutting It actress was on holidays with her husband Chris and daughters Alexa, 13, and Hollie, seven, when she snapped her fibula in two places.

Speaking on Heart to co-host Jamie Theakston, Amanda explained: ‘Yeah so basically I was trying to be a good mother Jamie and I put my book down, I put down the Uno cards… and I said to Hollie “Mummy can come on that with you” and there’s this like, you remember [Total] Wipeout, that TV thing? There’s like a children’s Total Wipeout thing in the middle of the sea and… I thought yeah I can do that.

‘So Hollie was doing brilliantly and going round it. I walked around it and then crawled across like an old person, like across the difficult bits.

‘And then there were these three inflatable stepping stones in the middle of the sea and everyone else was running across it and I thought “oh I could do that, if kids can do it I can do it” and I did it and I made it – I was showing off Jamie – I made it across to the other side and then my leg slipped ’cause obviously its wet, like an inflatable thing in the sea, my leg slipped and it went the other way and I felt it break and I fell in to the sea and I had to swim back to the shore one-legged.’

Amanda had immediate surgery to have a metal plate fitted in her leg.

However, the star hasn’t let her injury get her down, and even attended Lisa Faulkner and John Torode’s wedding last Thursday.

We do hope she isn’t making her own tea at Heart, though.
