The Britain’s Got Talent judge cheekily responded to critics who labelled her dress “inappropriate”.
Amanda Holden, 48, wore quite the gown to the live semi-finals last night, which saw another eight acts perform in a bid to make it to the finals.
The TV star wore a floor-length dress by Nicolas Jebran which featured a sheer side with an intricate spider web design over the chest.
While viewers were meant to be tuned into the show, many couldn’t stop staring at Amanda flesh-flashing ensemble.
Amanda ended up in hot water over her gown choice, with many stating she should have covered up because it’s a “family show”.
She hit clapped back with a cheeky response, uploading a picture to her Instagram which feature a water bottle stratigically placed to cover her breast.
The blonde-haired beauty wrote: “My friend Juliet McCormack just sent me this. Perfect nipple cover.”
Viewers took to social media insisting Amanda should cover up due to the PG nature of the show.
One wrote: “Yet another risky dress. For heaven’s sake.”
Another said: “Amanda it’s a family show as lovely as your dress is it was not appropriate. I was slightly embarrassed.”
A third put: “Need to dress more appropriately for a family show! Lovely dress for the right occasion, but BGT is not it!”
However, the dress was praised by others who deemed it “stunning”.
One fan said: “I’m obsessed. That dress, it’s a masterpiece.”
Another wrote: “Stunning. Loving the t*t web.”
And somebody else added: “Absolutely stunning again. But get ready for the complaints.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues weeknights at 7.30pm and 9.30pm on ITV.
