Amanda Holden was an absolute queen when giving birth to her eldest daughter Alexa.
Despite it sounding like a complicated birth, the 48-year-old made sure she was looking on fleek, as she did a full face of makeup and even put on a set of false lashes.
And she didn’t stop there!
Nope, when chatting on her Heart Radio Breakfast Show, the Britain’s Got Talent judge revealed she even asked to wear her stilettos.
Like girl, you’re going to give birth – not walk down a runway.
Explaining the situation to her co-presenter Jamie Theakston, the actress revealled that doctors denied her request to wear some fancy heels.
And we’re not surprised.
‘My Lexi had this thing called placenta previa,’ Amanda said: ‘Which means she couldn’t come out the normal way because her placenta was in the way.’
The proud mum-of-two added: ‘She was using it as a cushion basically, she was doing like a headstand on it.’
Talking about how she prepared for giving birth, the This Morning presenter continued: ‘I had to have a C-section so I did full glam.
‘I had lip gloss, I did a lash. I literally said, “Can I wear my [stilettos]?” And they went, “no way you, have to take your shoes off.”‘
Amanda shares two daughters with her hubby Chris Hughes, 13-year-old Alexa and seven-year-old Hollie.
The star has made a number of headlines recently, after she seemingly reignited her feud with Phillip Schofield.
During a quickfire question round on her radio show, the star was asked to name three things she didn’t want to find in her house – and Phil was one of them.
Amanda’s jibe came just months after claims she was dropped from presenting This Morning with Phillip, at the regular host’s request.
An insider reportedly told The Sun: ‘Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced — and having been told privately she’d got the gig.
‘She feels Phil unfairly used his powers of persuasion.’
The 547-year-old has since lamented the claims, without referencing them directly, hoping that his followers ‘would know him better’.
‘The end of another really sad weekend,’ he wrote in a tweet.
Phil said: ‘When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories from nameless “sources”.
‘Obviously I’ll take it on the chin..I just hope you know me better.’
