Amanda Holden gobsmacked at Taylor Swift’s good luck message on first day at Heart Breakfast

Amanda Holden was left in shock after Taylor Swift sent her a video message to mark her first day at Heart Breakfast, telling the Britain’s Got Talent judge she will be “amazing”.

Holden, 48, has taken over from Emma Bunton as co-host with Jamie Theakston as the popular show goes national.

Kicking off on Monday morning, Theakston surprised Holden with a message from Swift. “Hey Jamie and Amanda its Taylor Swift,” she said. “I just want to say congratulations on your new show – it’s going to be amazing I just know it.”

Unable to contain her shock, Holden said: “Jamie how did you get that? Is she in your phone?”

She also received a good luck message from Keith Lemon who poked fun at her f-bomb on BGT last week.

Holden kept fans up-to-date with her new role, and celebrated getting through 30 minutes, hours after partying into the night with Britain’s Got Talent.

The TV judge celebrated Colin Thackeray’s win on Sunday night with her co-stars Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams before heading to a hotel in Leicester Square – right next to the Global radio offices.

“I am staying at this hotel so that I will make it on time in the morning for Heart Breakfast at 6:30. I am so excited. I really hope if you’re up that you tune in.”

Holden was all smiles as she made her way inside the building on Monday morning, clutching a box of doughnuts emblazoned with the Union Jack.
