If the UK heatwave has left you feeling a little parched, fear not, an alternative tube map will help quench your thirst.
The revised map shows the nearest happy hour deals to a number of London Underground stations.
Two-for-one offers and discounted cocktails can be found on the guide, with the main stations of Zone 1 and 2 covered – plus a few extras thrown in for good measure.
Not only does the clever map include the location of the venue, but it also goes one step further. It includes details of the dates and times when the featured happy hours occur.
Some of Zone 1’s best deals include 2-4-1 cocktails every day at Waterloo’s Cubanas, £5 cocktails daily at Barrio in Angel until 9pm daily and 50% off drinks at The Loop in Bond Street, every Monday to Saturday from 5-8pm.
The genius creation, that will no doubt be sought after by thirsty punters, has been created by Mappy Hour – a company which creates guides and maps for those looking to explore cities and the countryside. The guide itself can be found on its app.
It’s also worth noting that the revised edition has a fair few food deals too, including £5 burgers at Notting Hill Gate’s Patty & Bun between 12-8pm from Monday to Thursday, as well as £1 oysters every day at Wright Brothers in Gloucester Road from 3-6pm.
The only downside of the map is that the stations themselves are not named, so unless you’re a tube expert (or an observant daily commuter) you may need the original tube map for reference.
