Global esports entertainment company Allied Esports has announced a partnership with streaming workflow platform MuxIP to distribute its tournament content to platforms across the world.

Showcasing events such as the VIE.gg CS:GO Legend Series and Allied Esports Vegas Minors, which features titles like Rainbow Six Siege and VALORANT, the tournament content includes matchups between organisations such as G2, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Liquid.

The partnership between the two is Allied Esports’ first distribution deal agreement for originally produced content.

Jud Hannigan, CEO of Allied Esports commented: “The demand for high-quality esports content continues to grow exponentially as streaming platforms expand their entertainment programming and overall reach.

“We’re thrilled to tap into our library and introduce new viewers and fans to some of the top competitive gaming content in the world.”

Last year, Allied Esports introduced a 24-hour programming schedule across its Twitch channels. Allied Esports has confirmed that it will continue to deliver its library of content, including broadcasts of community events, original productions and professional tournaments.

Thomas Link, CEO of MuxIP added: “We are excited to partnership with Allied Esports to help them expand their audience reach across mature and emerging OTT platforms.

“Allied Esports has some of the best content in their genre and we expect considerable interest as they increase their OTT platform distributions.”

In addition to tournament content, Allied Esports will be introducing a ‘Legend Series’ event across multiple titles featuring high-profile Twitch streamers. The series will be available to watch on the channels featured in the partnership, as well as on Twitch.

Esports Insider Says: As Allied Esports continues to level up its content game in the ecosystem, it also looks to branch out into other platform sources aside from Twitch, with this deal, in particular, looking to drive more eyes to Allied Esports’ events. Only time will tell if the content distribution deal is successful and whether more esports companies will follow suit.
