Esports venue owner Allied Esports has announced a multi-year partnership with digital media company LiveXLive to use the HyperX Esports Trucks as content production facilities at live concerts and festivals.

Allied’s HyperX Esports Trucks—which are mobile venues designed for gaming competitions—will be used to activate the LiveZone production facility at LiveXLive events. LiveXLive will use the trucks to broadcast artist interviews and other content from events, as well as host performances by bands for its “LiveXLive Presents” series.

Additionally, the HyperX Esports Trucks will provide competitive gaming experiences to attendees. The collaborative effort will first appear in Las Vegas on Sept. 21, during the same weekend that LiveXLive livestreams the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

“Esports and gaming represent an expansive and emerging audience that has been incredibly hard to reach by those targeting its demographic,” said Allied Esports CEO Jud Hannigan, in a release. “Partnerships with forward-thinking companies like LiveXLive will allow us to continue to bridge the gap between esports and other entertainment industries and deliver high-end, brand-friendly experiences and content for consumers around the world.”

Black Ridge Acquisition Corp. recently completed its acquisition of Allied Esports and World Poker Tour operator WPT Enterprises from Ourgame International, taking the name of Allied Esports Entertainment as a result. The company trades on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the ticker symbol AESE.
