The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) announced that it has partnered with Dell’s PC gaming brand Alienware to host the LCS Arcade at the LCS Studios in Los Angeles.

Featuring gaming PCs and peripherals provided by Alienware, the LCS Arcade (which Riot Games describes as a “PC bang-style cafe”) will let attendees play several of the company’s games, including League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics

In addition, Riot said that it will host live 1v1 competitions between fans and familiar “streamers.” However, no specific personalities or dates for these exhibition games were mentioned in the company’s release.

The LCS Arcade will be located inside the venue where the merchandise store used to be. It will officially open in Week 2 of the competition, which means that it won’t be active today as the 2020 spring split of the LCS officially kicks off at the LCS Studios.

“Playing League of Legends on top-of-the-line Alienware hardware, inside the LCS Arena, is an LCS fan’s dream come true. Alienware has been an integral partner in the League of Legends esports ecosystem, especially in North America with the LCS, and we can’t wait to see fans duke it out on the Rift (or elsewhere in Runeterra) at our new LCS Arcade,” said Matt Archambault, head of esports partnerships & business development for North America at Riot Games, in a release.

Alienware, a subsidiary of Dell, is the official PC and display partner of the LCS, and League of Legends European Championship Series (LEC), as well as global League of Legends events; the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), All-Stars, and Worlds competitions. The PC maker is also the hardware partner of Team Liquid and Misfits Gaming.

Alienware’s multiyear partnership with the LCS and LEC was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January of last year, replacing PC maker Acer.

Riot also revealed today that it will continue its partnership with Red Bull North America, which will remain the official energy drink partner of the LCS. Red Bull will also continue to host “tailgating experiences” at the LCS Studios, and create Red Bull/LCS broadcast segments during team matches. Furthermore, a new press and VIP suite within the LCS Studios will be unveiled by Red Bull, featuring artwork of “the most-played LoL Champions from 2019″ created by community artist Melissa “Sade” Yabumoto.
