Hi-Rez Studios announced Thursday that Alienware will serve as the title sponsor for season 8 of the SMITE Pro League. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new sponsorship, Alienware will outfit the Hi-Rez production studio and player houses with Aurora Ryzen Edition desktop PCs. All players and coaches will also receive PCs, according to the announcement. Hi-Rez and Alienware will also work together on activations such as giveaways during season 8.
Alienware had served as a partner for League of Legends esports until last month when parent company Dell abruptly announced that it had ended its relationship with Riot Games.
