An interview segment began in which Alicia noted, ‘The whole Kendrick thing was kind of ill because we put the whole song together and we didn’t really know where Kendrick would go.’

She pondered, ‘Like did he go at the top of the song, did he go on the middle of the song, before the end of the song?’

The classically trained pianist added that German film composer Hans Zimmer, 64, contributed to the music with the creation of a ‘whole orchestral passage between the end of the movie to lead all the way into the end credits of the movie.’

The entertainer excitedly revealed, ‘That’s when we knew, “Oh, that’s where Kendrick goes!”‘
