Alfredo Morelos celebrates his first Father's Day as wife shares sweet snap

Rangers star Alfredo Morelos celebrated his first Father’s Day with his ‘little princess’ Leonela.

The striker’s wife Yesenia took to Instagram to wish her husband a happy day, and also thanked him for being ‘the best dad’ to their one-year-old tot.

Sharing a cute snap of 24-year-old, Yesenia wrote: “Happy Father’s Day we love you lots. Thank you for being the best dad to our princess.”

And many of her followers were quick to comment on the post.

One said: “Happy Father’s Day Alfredo.”

Another commented that the father and daughter dup were identical. They said: “Beautiful twins!!!”

While another wrote: “May God bless and guide you always my friend, Alfredo Morelos. Take care of that big heart and keep being the best example for your princess and family.”

The couple welcomed little Leonela in May last year while they were visiting loved ones in Colombia, and she has been the apple of their eye ever since.

The football star gushed with love as he thanked his little girl for filling his life with happiness.

He wrote: “Daughter, thank you for coming into my life, for filling it with happiness and making me the best version of myself.

The pair are so smitten with little Leonela that last year, they had a mini celebration every month with cakes and balloons.

For her tenth month celebration, Leonela posed next to a 10 balloon surrounded by cupcakes and a main cake and did the same to mark 11 months but when it came to the big 1st birthday celebration the couple went all out.

The pair decided to opt for a Moana themed party with hundreds of balloons, cakes and dancing.

They even had huge light up letters which spelt out the tot’s name.
