Alex Jones: The One Show host left emotional as unseen moment with husband is unearthed

Alex Jones, 42, got candid with her 179,000 Instagram followers this morning as she reflected on her experiences at Glastonbury. The One Show host, who is currently on maternity leave, often covered the music festival for the BBC programme with Chris Evans, 38. Alex shared a series of nostalgic snaps from the event on her page, including a sweet selfie with her husband Charlie Thomson as they were surrounded by crowds of festival-goers. She added the caption: “Some memories of glasto’s gone by when me and the Evans were in charge of Friday nights on @bbctheoneshow with a bit of @bbcradio2 duties thrown in.

“What a laugh!! Hope you’re having the best time in the sun if you’re there this weekend. #glastonbury.”(sic)

Fans were quick to comment on the post with many telling the star they have missed her Glastonbury coverage.

One wrote in reference to the photo of Alex and Charlie: “That last pic of you two is gorgeous x.”

Another added: “Loved it when you two presented the show, definitely the best.”

A third replied: “Great days for the show you and Chris were brilliant x.”

Alex’s Glastonbury revelation comes after she posted an emotional review of a book she was reading on her Instagram story.

Sharing a picture of Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton, she gushed: “So much of this book resonated and took me back to some fun/ridiculous times before having children and becoming semi sensible!

“B****y b****y brilliant @dollyalderton.”

The presenter then admitted the book had caused her to feel mixed emotions.

She continued: “Laughing/crying all of it…

“Now all I want to do is see the girls for a boozy lunch.”

Elsewhere, Alex recently opened up to fans as she prepared for a night of feeding her new baby Kit Thomson, who she gave birth to last month.

The TV personality shared a photo of herself in bed on the social media platform.

She smiled at the camera while resting her hand on her brunette locks.

She wrote on the picture: “And just like that… it’s night again.

“We can do this mamas.”
