In a follow up post, Alex shared a picture of a tiny baby grow, which held special memories for the star.

She wrote on the picture: “They’re so tiny!! We bought him how from hospital in this.”

Last night, Alex shared a stunning snap of herself cradling her blossoming baby bump.

The TV favourite revealed she won’t be on the TV much longer as she’s getting closer to maternity leave.

She wrote beside the stunning image: “It’s the homeward stretch now before Mat leave kicks in.

“And due to the combo of a very dull day and me feeling pretty rubbish with a head cold, we decided that a bit of colour was needed tonight.”

She continued: “Still finding outfits that work but aren’t necessarily maternity wear. See where this little dress was from @hellomag and it’s a bargain!”

Elsewhere, Alex recently opened up about her pregnancy journey and admitted she couldn’t “enjoy it” at the beginning, following a miscarriage in 2017.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine, Alex said: “You don’t let yourself relax.

“I couldn’t enjoy it for a long time and didn’t tell anyone for ages.”

In the interview, Alex spoke about her devastating miscarriage for the first time.

She said she was around 14 weeks when she found out the heartbreaking news.

“The baby had stopped developing at about nine weeks,” Alex said.

“That was really hard. It hit us like a ton of bricks.”

The One Show airs weekdays on BBC One at 7pm.
