Alesha Dixon: BGT judge shows off blossoming baby bump after dress 'CAME OFF' on show

Alesha Dixon, 40, stunned viewers when she announced she was expecting a baby live on the ITV series of Britain’s Got Talent earlier this week. And on tonight’s third instalment of the semi-finals, the Mis-Teeq singer sported a short mini dress which emphasised her growing baby bump. But her outfit didn’t go to plan on the night as at the beginning of the episode, Alesha’s co-star David Walliams let slip the beauty had a sudden wardrobe malfunction ahead of her appearance. Seconds before the show was due to air on viewers screens, Alesha’s dress “came off”.

The talent judge said: “We had a wardrobe malfunction, about a second before we came on Alesha said ‘my dress as come off’.”

The pregnant star confirmed the news to Britain’s Got Talent hosts, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelley.

She said: “Literally two seconds before you said ‘the Britain’s Got Talent judges!’.”

Despite this, the pregnant star looked sensational as she wowed viewers in the pink number which featured large full-length arms.

Taking to Instagram, the talent judge uploaded a heartwarming snap as she posed in the stunning number whilst her five-year-old daughter Azura cradled her baby bump.

Alesha added open-toe stiletto heels as she smouldered into the camera for the snap.

She kept her dark tresses in a slick top knot bun as she sported bold make-up.

In view of her 770,000 followers, she captioned the photo: “My angel @bgt,” referring to her daughter who could be seen giving a cheeky smile.

Fans rushed to comment on the post, as one person said: “The Queen and her princess.”

Another person commented: “Just melted my heart.”

While a third person added: “Both so so gorgeous.”

The TV personality is expecting her second child with her partner Azuka Ononye and recently told viewers she was “over the moon” about her impending arrival.

She rose to fame as a member of R&B trio Mis-Teeq and pursued a solo career after the band split.

The singer has also starred as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, before leaving to join Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.

She recently addressed if she’d been asked to return to Strictly by Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern she said “no”.

He asked: “Just tell me, did Strictly try to get you back?”

The former Mis-Teeq band member admitted: “No, I didn’t even hear that!”

Britain’s Got Talent semi-final continues tonight on ITV at 9.30pm.
