Aldi slashes price of £30 10ft paddling pool to just £10

BRING on summer and warmer weather, because Aldi is selling a 10ft paddling pool for as little as a tenner.

A savvy shopper spotted the £9.99 bargain price of the “Intex Quick Set Up Pool” in store, where it’s been slashed in cost from £29.99.

That’s a sweet £20 discount. Aldi hasn’t yet told us whether it’s a nationwide offer, so your best bet would be to give your local store a ring or pop down to see if you can bag the bargain yourself.

The shopper, who shared the deal in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, said she got the pool from Aldi’s Bedminster store in Bristol.

The paddling pool has a capacity of about 3.8 litres and it comes with a three year warranty.

It is suitable for children aged six or above, so you will probably need something smaller if you’re looking for a pool for your toddler.

According to the retailer, setting it up takes about 10 minutes, meaning you have more time to enjoy the sunshine.

The pool originally launched at Aldi last summer, but is no longer available online.

If you miss out on the bargain price, Lidl has brought back its £14 paddling pool and it even has a drinks holder.

It’s cheaper than B&Q’s £25 inflatable pool, although this also comes with seats and cup holders.

Meanwhile, the Intex pool would set you back £38.96 on Amazon, while a similar 10ft pool from another brand costs £60 at Argos.

Aldi has more than 620 stores across the UK and Ireland. You can find your nearest one and contact details using its store locator tool.

Last week, Aldi launched a garden furniture range including sofa sets and sun loungers.

It’s also selling a fire pit that can be used as a BBQ for £50.

Or if you’re after a cold treat in the sun, the discounter has rolled out unicorn ice cream cones covered in sweets.
