Aldi is selling a double swing set for £70 that’s cheaper than its rivals

YOU can easily entertain the little ones in the garden with Aldi’s double swing set – and at £69.99 it’s cheaper than the discounter’s rivals.

Featuring two swings and an additional glider seat, the Plum-branded set could be the perfect garden toy for summer days on the cheap.

If you’re worried about it deteriorating in the British weather, you’ll be happy to know that it comes with a powder-coated steel frame to protect it from rust.

The swing set will roll out on Aldi’s website as an online exclusive this Sunday, July 7, but if you can’t wait until then, you can pre-order it now already.

Just keep in mind you’ll have to pay a delivery charge of £3.95.

The item is part of Aldi’s Specialbuys, meaning it’s only available as long as stocks last.

Make sure to check you have enough space in your garden before you splash out though – the green set comes in the size of 2.68m x 1.78m x 1.83m.

It’s suitable for children above the age of three who weigh a maximum of 50kg.

A Plum-branded swing set in the same size but in a different colour would set you back more at Aldi’s rivals.

Amazon and Robert Dyas, for example, are selling them for £85.98 and £89.99, respectively – up to £20 more expensive than at Aldi.

But if you’re not fussed about the Plum brand, Argos is currently selling a Chad Valley set with two swings and a glider for just £60.

This comes in the size of 180cm x 270cm x 150cm.

Both Aldi and Very are also selling two-in-one swing sets for kids – and they cost just £40.

Other garden gadgets on sale at the discount supermarket include a firepit for a bargain price.

And it’s rolled out an 8ft garden trampoline at an amazing 32 per cent discount.
