IF you’re struggling over what to buy for your old man this Father’s Day, why not treat your dad to a slap up steak.
Aldi is bringing back its Big Daddy steak just in time for the family get together, on June 16, and the steak itself weighs a whopping 16oz.
Hitting the shelves on June 13 after being matured for 21 days, the steak is part of the supermarket’s limited Specialbuys, so once it’s gone it’s gone.
Costing just £4.99, the bargain dish sells out quickly every year.
Julie Ashfield, joint managing director of corporate buying at Aldi UK, said: “The 16oz ‘Big Daddy’ Extra Thick Rump Steak has been a customer favourite since it first launched and we’re delighted to bring it back as a Specialbuy once again.”
If you’re planning on treating your dad to a home cooked meal, Aldi is also selling all the trimmings including Specially Selected Halloumi Fries for £2.29.
Wash it down with some Golden Crown Ale for £1.19, and for desert there’s Specially Selected Sticky Toffee Pudding (£2.29).
But if you miss out on the steak, fear not as Aldi is also selling a foot long hot dog with South Carolina sauce for just £1.99.
Meanwhile this student fears she may have given her dad herpes after she used his razor.
And this dad bravely opened up about how he discovered his wife’s multiple affairs by reading her Facebook messages.
