ALDI is launching a tutti frutti flavour gin liqueur and it sounds perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

The new booze from Didsbury Gin is blush pink in colour and tastes of zesty tropical flavours.

The new sweet creation is available from August 22 in store and on the Aldi website and costs £13.99 for 50cl.

A bottle has a 20 per cent alcohol by volume (ABV) content and contains 125 calories.

We’ve asked Aldi to confirm the calorie count and we’ll update this article when we know more.

Aldi is the first supermarket to stock a product from Didsbury Gin after the Manchester-based brand secured an investment from Dragon’s Den star Jenny Campbell.

Until now, shoppers could only buy Didsbury Gin in premium stores including Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

Aldi recommends serving the sweet offering with classic tonic accompanied by a generous slice of pink grapefruit and a twist of orange.

Or if you fancy a tutti frutti spritz, the supermarket suggests mixing with prosecco and fresh grapefruit juice.

Just remember to drink responsibly and be Drinkaware.

We found a similar tutti frutti flavour gin liqueur from Old Skool Gin but this costs £5.96 more than the Aldi alternative at £19.95 for a 50cl bottle.

It’s also only available online so you’ll be paying £4.95 for postage and packaging on top of this.

Aldi has also confirmed there will be nine new spirits coming out soon as part of the supermarket’s first even National Spirits Festival.

We asked Aldi to confirm what other booze customers can expect and the supermarket said more details will be released on August 19.

But if the new offerings are anything like the supermarket’s current list of spirits, shoppers should expect some creative flavours.

Aldi currently stocks a violet shimmery gin liqueur, as well as a gingerbread gin liqueur and chilli and ginger gin.

Gin lovers will want to take note of what happened when we tested unicorn and parma violet gin to find you the best value for money.

Asda has also launched three new shimmering gins that taste of lemon sherbets, pear drops and parma violets.

Or if you’re more a cider drinker, Magners has released a pink cider that’s the colour of roses.
