That works out at just 50p per 284ml bottle.

The price is part of Aldi’s Specialbuy promotion and there is only limited stocks available.

The deal was spotted by an eagle-eyed shopper in the Facebook group Extreme Bargaining and Coupons UK.

Competitor supermarket Lidl are selling the same crate for £7.99.

Asda are selling 12 bottles for £9, but currently has a deal on where you can get three crates for £21.

Facebook commentators were excited by the price.

Daniella Jackson said: “I could of saved a bloody fortune this week!!”

Katie Richards added: “Ooooo I need some, I’m going tomorrow lol”

And Michelle Manson said: “I saw these today but didn’t see the price.. That answers my question, why has the woman in front of me got 6 boxes… Lol”.

DROP A LEVEL Try switching all of your branded or premium goods for lower level ones and see if you notice the difference.

If you do, switch back, but if you can’t stick with the cheaper option.

But Scottish shoppers were left disappointed as minimum pricing rules mean that they can’t get the same discounts.

Corinna Harkness said: “Wish I didn’t live in Scotland we never get good alcohol deals now.”

Sarah McIntosh added: “Think it may be about £10 in Scotland, and £13 for the bigger pack? I don’t remember.

“All I know is, it’s more than this because of the minimum unit pricing. This is the English price.”

To pick up a pack or two you’ll need to head to your nearest Aldi.

There are more than 700 across the UK and you can find your nearest one using the store locator tool.

This isn’t the only beer deal available at the moment.

Sainsbury’s are selling four bottles of Heineken for £2.13, according to deals website HotUkDeals.

And you can get 10 330ml bottles of Corona for £6.99 at Home Bargains.

While another shopper spotted 10 440ml cans of San Miguel for just £6.25 at a Sainsbury’s in Leicester.

If wine is more your thing, Asda is currently selling six bottles for £22.50 – that’s £3.75 a bottle.

The offer applies to 50 different wines.

Meanwhile, Magners is launching a PINK cider that’s the colour of roses.

And Asda is selling wine for just £3 but you have to buy six bottles.
