Alan Carr has revealed he’s been FaceTiming his pal Adele and it’s clear the lockdown isn’t holding him – or his social life – back in the slightest.

The funnyman has been getting all of the goss from the likes of Gok Wan, John Bishop, and David Walliams.

Oh, to be a fly on that wall.

Chatting to Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast about whether he’d been in touch with the Someone Like You singer, he answered: ‘Oh yeah, we FaceTimed her the other day! And of course she looks amazing now, doesn’t she?’

He added: ‘I mean, tell me that diet now Adele! I need it now!

‘Yeah, but then I’ve been – yeah, Gok, John Bishop and David Walliams and everything. Yeah we’ve all been getting in contact, it’s been good!’

Alan and Adele are close friends, with the singer officiating his wedding to Paul Drayton back in 2018.

And she and Paul are BFFs too, with the pair being pictured last year holding hands at Hyde Park for British Summer Time, after they enjoyed a set from Adele’s fellow queen of ballads, Celine Dion.

It’s gotta be done.

Meanwhile, Adele recently shared a rare social media post to celebrate her 32nd birthday, rocking a stunning little black dress outside her home in Los Angeles.

‘Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,’ Adele wrote.

She then paid tribute to the frontline workers fighting against coronavirus and added: ‘I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels ♥️ 2020 okay bye thanks x.’

Let’s hope Alan and Adele can be reunited soon – we can only imagine the mischief they’ll get up to.
