Chelsea have reportedly been told they will have to pay £35million to land Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Onana, 24, is being chased by Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona after impressing with the Dutch giants over the past four seasons as their regular goalkeeper.

Frank Lampard is in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer after becoming dissatisfied by the level of performances from Blues stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga and Onana has emerged as a strong contender to replace him at Stamford Bridge.

Onana is weighing up his own future, according to The Telegraph. His options include running down his current deal, which has two years remaining, and leaving on a free transfer.

However, Ajax are willing to sell this summer at the right price and he could follow team-mate Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea.

Onana opened up on his future earlier this week, particularly focused on a possible return to Barcelona.

‘It’s hard to say because with FC Barcelona, I am still in very good relations with the president, the coaches,’ the Cameroonian, who spent five years in Barca’s La Masia academy, replied.

‘As I said earlier, Barca is my home. If I have to go back, I will go back.

‘But today we are still far from it. I’m the Ajax goalkeeper and we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.

‘I only take care of the ball game, what happens at the stadium. The rest is up to my agents who manage.’
