Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has admitted to making plans for what would happen to her body after she was convinced she would die during a cancer scare.

The Big Brother star and former glamour model, 41, said that she considered having her ashes turned into a diamond when stomach pains prompted her to undergo tests late last year.

After many sleepless nights while waiting for the results, Aisleyne – whose mother died from breast cancer at the age of 54 – was relieved when she was eventually told that she was suffering with stomach erosion.

She told the Sun Online that her ‘blood ran cold’ when she first heard that she might have cancer, adding: ‘I thought I was going to die.’

‘I started writing wills and thinking about who would get what. I tried holding onto hope, but I would Google things when I couldn’t sleep.

‘I’d be awake in the middle of the night planning what would happen to my body. I wanted my ashes to be made into a diamond.

‘But then I was worrying about where the diamond would be kept.’

She joked: ‘I wanted it to be in a museum not just on a mantelpiece in a glass case.’

She said that she then thought about the possibility of technological advances perhaps being able to bring her back from the dead, which would not be possible if her ashes were turned into a diamond.

‘So then I decided I should just have a normal burial so if there’s any chance, then they can bring me back. That was where my thoughts went at 4am on a sleepless night,’ she said.

Aisleyne, who found fame in the seventh series of Big Brother in 2006, said that the cancer scare has made her want to become a mother more than ever.

The TV personality has previously suffered four miscarriages but she said that she is now determined to ‘make becoming a mother a reality’.

In January, Aisleyne was flooded with support from fans after she tweeted that she did not have cancer.

She had posted: ‘I don’t have cancer. Crying. I have no emoji to explain my feeling. Oh my god it’s been tough.

‘I feel so blessed. Literally can’t stop crying. Thank you God.’
