Agile Camera Daypack with Lifetime Warranty Raises $250K+ in 24hrs

A new camera bag is turning heads after it attracted over $250,000 in crowdfunding in just its first day on Kickstarter. It’s called the WANDRD DUO Daypack, and it’s a dawn-to-dusk bag for photographers and others who are “looking to elevate the way they carry their daily gear.”

WANDRD knows a thing or two about both bags and crowdfunding: born on Kickstarter 4 years ago, the startup has since raised nearly $2 million in funding across 5 different campaigns.

“The DUO Daypack is a dawn-to-dusk, daily carrying beast that was tirelessly designed to go from work to play… to play to work… to work to work… to play to play… or whatever else you call your daily grinds, errands, and passions,” WANDRD says.

With an InfiniteZip system that allows you to create the opening of your choice — it contains four sliders along one zipper — the bag allows for dual side access for direct access to whatever you need to get your hands on.

A POP Camera Cube system lets you store your camera safely while tucking away nicely when you’re not carrying gear.

“The protective POP cube is a multifunctional space for a variety of tech and photography items,” WANDRD says. “We have also included a padded EVA foam divider that can be adjusted to snuggly fit your camera, lenses, drone, shoes, or other gear.”

“We’ve also built in dual padded expansion pockets, made out of a dense EVA foam,” WANDRD says. “Perfect for small cameras, hard drives, lenses, and anything else that needs extra protection.”

The bag is designed to keep your gear dry even during bad weather. While it’s not recommended that you do the same, the company tested its water resistance by blasting it with a power washer — the bag’s contents emerged “dry as a whistle,” WANDRD says.

WANDRD is also touting the bag’s durability, backing up its words with a “no questions asked lifetime guarantee.”

Here’s a 3.5-minute video introducing the DUO Daypack and its features:

You can put down around $190 on Kickstarter if you’d like a chance at snagging one of the first bags — assuming the company succeeds on delivering on its promises — and the estimated delivery for crowdfunding backers is in December 2019.
