Afro Nation 2022: How to buy tickets for Wizkid and Chris Brown festival?

Those quick enough will be able to buy tickets for Afro Nation 2022 when they go on sale today. 

The popular festival will return to Portugal this July boasting a mega line-up including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Chris Brown and Megan Thee Stallion

Taking place along the coast of the Algarve, Afro Nation is the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival but also celebrates other genres, including dancehall, bashment and reggae. 

For the first time, it will also welcome the most impressive and comprehensive Amapiano line-up as the buzzy South African sound sweeps over the world. 

For those wanting to see Wizkid a little closer to home, the Nigerian superstar will be headlining London’s Yam Carnival over the August Bank Holiday on Clapham Common.

As tickets go on general sale this morning, here’s all the important information you need to know about Afro Nation 2022:

Afro Nation will return to The Algarve, Portimao in Portugal so festival-goers can soak in the sun as much as the music on the beach. 

Specifically, the festival is set in Praia da Rocha, about two miles south of Portimão, is the town’s main beach and one of the most popular and liveliest in The Algarve.

How can I buy tickets? 

Following the pre-sale on Thursday, Afro Nation Portugal 2022 tickets go on general sale Friday January 28 at 9am GMT. For more information and tickets visit the Afro Nation website

Who is on the Afro Nation 2022 line-up? 

It’s a beautifully star-studded line-up with Burna Boy, Wizkid, Chris Brown and Megan Thee Stallion headlining. 

P-Square has been announced as a special guest while other acts include: Beanie Man, Tems, Wande Coal, Tekno, Naira Marley, Koffee, CKay and PA Salieu.
