Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is set to agree a move to Juventus in the next 24 hours.

The Frenchman is free to leave the club on June 30th when his contract expires after falling out with the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy.

Rabiot hasn’t played for the club since December and his availability has alerted clubs from across Europe, including Manchester United, who are seeking to replace Ander Herrera.

United were willing to better the salary Rabiot earns in Paris but Gianluca Di Marzio claims Juventus have won the race to sign the midfielder.

The Old Lady have signed the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Dani Alves, Sami Khedira and Aaron Ramsey on free transfers in recent years.

The report claims Rabiot will deliver his answer to Juventus tomorrow before signing his contract next week.

Rabiot recently admitted interest from United but suggested he would accept Juventus’ offer.

‘I’ve spoken with Juventus, it’s a great club where everyone would like to play,’ Rabiot told Corriere dello Sport.

‘I like Italy so much, it’s wonderful here. A demanding season awaits me. At Juventus? Juve watched me and we talked about it, but I can’t say anything.

‘Manchester United? It’s the same as last year, I have to decide. I’m on vacation for now. Soon you will know.’

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign up to two central midfielders this summer and may move on to Newcastle ace Sean Longstaff after Rabiot’s decision.

The Norwegian wants to sign Sporting Lisbon ace Bruno Fernandes but United will not meet his £70m valuation.
