ADELE’s best friend Alan Carr has revealed her new slimline look has inspired him to go on a 1,000 calorie a day diet.
The Hello singer, 31, thrilled fans when she recently showed off the results of her extraordinary weight loss.

Speaking at this week’s National Television Awards, Alan, 43, said: “I have been on a weird diet of a 1,000 calories.
“Adele looks great and she has inspired me.
“She is looking great.
“I love Adele.

“Wherever she is in the world you always get a video message for your birthday and I had one when I won my BAFTA a few years ago.
“What you see is what you get with her. What you see on stage is what you see.”
Earlier this month it emerged Adele had told a fan whilst on holiday with Harry Styles and James Corden she lost “like 100 pounds”.
They told People Magazine: “Adele came over and sat down next to me and my friend and was like, ‘So what can I do for you girls?’.
“We were so excited. We were talking to her for a little while, and then she got Harry Styles to come over and sit with us also. We took a picture with Harry, and we talked to them for 15 minutes probably.
“She said she lost something like 100 pounds, and that it’s such a crazy positive experience
“She seemed so happy, and she looked amazing. She seemed really confident.”

She is believed to have lost seven stone due to an intense diet, hypnotherapy and Pilates.

She said: “I trained Ayda for a long time and it happens that they are good friends so I did Adele when she was there in Robbie’s house.
“I don’t believe she liked exercise much but she has changed her lifestyle and I believe that 90 per cent was dieting.”
“If you eat a healthy, balanced diet, eat less calories a day and expend more energy, your deficit will be none.
“Giving up processed food, sugar, soda and getting into an exercise routine, like cardio and strength-training, will change people’s body.”
In 2018 Alan got married to partner Paul Drayton and Adele officiated the ceremony.
She got ordained so she could conduct it.
At the time, she wrote on Instagram: “Seeing as the cat’s out the bag. I married two of my best friends in January.
“You know me any excuse to dress up… @chattyman #LoveisLove.”
Alan said: “She’s known me and Paul for ages, and she said, ‘I want to do your special day. Let me do everything’.
“So she did everything, and she got ordained, and she married us. She is the kindest, most sweetest, loveliest person ever.”
