AC/DC fans have major cause for celebration after the band revealed they’re reuniting after five years.

Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams are back (in black) to join Angus and Stevie Young, with the gang set to treat fans to new music.

The Highway To Hell hitmakers announced the happy news with a full band photo on Instagram.

In case of any confusion, they listed the full band line-up, reeling off: ‘Angus Young: lead guitar, Brian Johnson: lead vocals, Cliff Williams: bass guitar, Phil Rudd: drums, Stevie Young: rhythm guitar’.

Captioning the photo, they wrote: ‘ARE YOU READY? #PWRUP.’

Safe to say fans can’t handle it in the slightest, with one commenting: ‘2020 gonna be good after all,’ and another writing: ‘POWER UP RIGHT NOW⚡🔥🎸🎤.’

Brian was replaced by Axl Rose in the band in 2016 after suffering extensive hearing loss.

Phil, meanwhile, was replaced in 2015 after being found guilty of drugs possession and threats to kill, and being arrested at his home in New Zealand.

He was sentenced to eight months’ home detention and ordered to pay $120,000 (NZ), which amounts to £61,000, in reparation.

The star told the NZ Herald in 2016 that he had ‘stopped all the crazy stuff’ and had been ‘happy’ to get help from a doctor after his arrest.

Cliff, meanwhile, retired from music in 2016, last performing with the rest of the band on their Rock Or Bust World Tour.

While nothing has been confirmed, it’s been rumoured that their album has already been recorded.

Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider told ABC Audio that the new record was in the making – but had been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

He explained: ‘What will be achieved, the reuniting of the band that we know for one more album, is gonna be uplifting and heartbreaking at the same time. Because nothing goes on forever. But this is the ultimate “one more time.”‘

AC/DC, formed in 1973, are best known for their hits including Highway To Hell, Back In Black, and Thunderstruck.
