Rosie Jones, 31, is known for her comedy, and being very open about her cerebral palsy. The comedian has taken to Twitter to fume at Uber as she was denied her journey due to the driver confusing her cerebral palsy for being drunk.
Rosie took to Twitter yesterday to fume about her latest Uber experience.
In view of her 164,200 followers she posted a screenshot of her Uber account with it saying her journey was denied because “you were not wearing a face cover or mask”.
Along with the screenshot, the comedian penned: “Just received this message from @Uber.
“I was wearing a mask and the driver drove away. I had a hand on the door and I was left in the road.
“He thought I was drunk. I wasn’t. I have cerebral palsy.”

In a statement given to Metro.co.uk about the event, Uber said they will be “carrying a full investigation” into the incident.
It read: “Everybody should feel safe and welcome when riding with Uber. The experience Rosie described is totally unacceptable and we offer our deepest apologies.
“As our Community Guidelines state, we have zero tolerance for any discrimination based on disability and we’ll be contacting the driver involved and carrying out a full investigation.”
Rosie has written for panel shows including Would I Lie To You? and The Last Leg.
