Aberdeen engineering firm's three-year deal with oil producer

Aberdeen-based offshore group Three60 Energy has secured a three-year contract to service Spirit Energy’s UK Continental Shelf assets through its Step Change Engineering division.

The deal builds on an existing relationship with the oil producer and involves engineering, design, procurement, fabrication and site activities. The contract includes two one-year extension options.

Three60 Energy chief executive Walter Thain said: “We are delighted to have been selected by Spirit Energy to provide these services for their UK portfolio and it’s great to see our track-record being recognised.

“Spirit Energy is a hugely important client to us, both in the UK and Norway, and our shared values of agility, collaboration and innovation will ensure aligned successful delivery for both parties.”

Three60 Energy acquired Step Change in 2018. It also owns Leap Energy, North Sea Construction & Commissioning and Ridge as part of an offering that includes subsurface, wells delivery, engineering, construction and commissioning and operations management services.

Spirit Energy’s UKCS assets include the Alba and Brae fields off Aberdeen.
