Aaron Wan-Bissaka has missed Manchester United’s clash against Arsenal due to illness.
The 21-year-old, who was signed from Crystal Palace for £50 million in the summer, has started in all six of United’s Premier League games so far.
The right-back also played a full game last Wednesday as United were forced to beat Rochdale via a penalty shootout in the Carabao Cup.
But Wan-Bissaka has been suffering from an illness since Friday’s training session which has forced him to miss the fixture against the Gunners at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
When asked about Wan-Bissaka’s absence before the game, Solskjaer said: ‘He has been ill over the weekend so that was a decision we finally made yesterday.
‘Hopefully we will have him back soon.’
United, meanwhile, have been boosted by the return of Marcus Rashford, who was a major doubt before the game due to a groin problem.
Rashford suffered the injury in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham a week ago and Solskjaer had initially claimed that the 21-year-old would be sidelined for ‘a while’.
Paul Pogba was also considered a doubt by Solskjaer due to an ankle injury but the World Cup winner is fit to start in United’s midfield.
