Singleton sadly died from cancer in 2015 after a fierce battle.
Boston Globe journalist Maria Cramer said in the programme: “Tanya Singleton was probably one of the closest people to Aaron Hernandez.
“She was his cousin, they’d grown up together, and they had a very complicated relationship and she was a key figure in the investigation.
“And because she became someone who knew a lot about what had happened in the days following Odin Lloyd’s death.”
The journalist went on to say: “Tanya Singleton, I believe, was probably the most loyal person to Aaron Hernandez throughout the entire case.”
