Aaron Carter has made the ultimate declaration of his love for his new girlfriend, by getting a tattoo of her name on his face.
The 32-year-old singer is currently dating Melanie Martin and it appears he might have found ‘the one’, judging by his bold show of affection.
After getting his hair dyed this weekend, Aaron’s hairdresser shared an Instagram video of his new blonde look with the new tattoo visible on his face.
Aaron now has ‘Melanie’ tattooed just above his right eyebrow adding to his to his growing collection of body art.
The former pop star already has three moon crescents below his right eye as well as a particularly large tattoo of Rihanna as medusa covering the left side of his face. He’s also got ‘love’ sprawled across his entire neck and his arms covered with sleeves.
It comes just as Aaron and Melanie were spotted shopping for engagement rings on Melrose Avenue.
The couple headed to Alen M Femme Coiffure where they were seen looking at rings costing $80,000. Aaron shared a close-up of the price tag with the teasing caption: ‘Hmmm.’
Aaron was previously in a relationship with girlfriend Lina Valentina until their split in 2019 with the singer revealing their romance had become ‘unhealthy’.
In a statement at the time, the singer explained: ‘Lina and I have decided to go our separate ways. I was really hoping this would be the one that lasted forever.
‘We had even talked about having kids, but we couldn’t seem to get past our differences and the relationship eventually turned unhealthy… I don’t have any regrets being with Lina, and I definitely learned a lot about myself.’
During their relationship, the pair sparked rumours that they were expecting a baby but Aaron later clarified Lina wasn’t pregnant although he was ‘looking forward to becoming a father’ one day.
He found love with Melanie soon after and they went Instagram official earlier this year.
Aaron joins the growing list of celebrities getting face tattoos recently with Amber Rose, Chris Brown, Post Malone and Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber, among the stars going under the needle.
