Teams were given an extra task to furnish a room with as little cash as possible, for a first home owner.

El’ise and Matt had the job of transforming the study, and aimed to furnish the room under $3,000, in a bid to win the $5,000 cash prize and bonus point.

The couple failed to agree on anything during the episode, but all came to a crescendo while en route to purchase furniture and paint for the room reveal.

‘I’m not giving up at all,’ Matt responded. ‘I’ll do my job. You just do whatever you want to do.’
